Steaks

I like going on vacations and going out to eat. In and around some of the Orlando vacation home rental, there are many places to eat.

I love to go out and have good italian food. Then there are steak houses. Here in Minnesota we have a place called Timber Lodge Steakhouse.

This place is really good and serves prime rib that is to croak for. We are going back there next week.

Reading Out

One of my favorite things to do is go to a place and read, do computer work, write or more. I have often wondered what goes through the server's mind when I show up. I mean it looks like I am setting up camp. I have a book, computers and even ink pens, to write with. I guess the bad part would be is that I am not a great tipper.

For that I feel bad . . . of course I usually try to go after the lunch hour when there is not a great turnover of people. Still I demand my ice tea.

Another Wannabe

I always like eating out . . . as do most people. I recently had a really good steak at a local steak 'wannabe' steakhouse. This was a nice place and it is a wannabe like Applebees is a wannabe. To many other things and not enough choices of real steak. I know that whines a little.

I will say the thing that is best about this type of place is when they bring you the tab and some ink pens the price is no to high.

Spiderman = no plot

I think the makers of Spiderman went a little over the top and really should have thought of having some Tenuate. The movie was really pretty bad. I mean they tried to hard. Way to many bad guys. The sandman was really dumb. I am not very happy with whole thing.

The only thing that Spiderman was missing is a plot. I mean the absence of any semblance of plot was really disappointing.

At the end of the movie spider dude lets a bad man go. What is this about? Not to mention the whole thing with Spiddie jumping in front of an American Flag. Nice picture but a little unrealistic.

The bottom line: a plot would have been nice.

Variation on a Theme, please

I always like when I go to a restaurant and there is a good theme going on. Living in Minnesota we get a lot of lodge themed places. Kinda boring.

There is still a polish place in the twin cities I want to check out. I would like a good french where it seems like a french cafe. Or a good old Italian that reminds me of a Tuscany Villas or the main plaza in Rome. I would like a good Greek themed eating establishment. I am sick of the lodges. I mean how many roadhouses and lodges do I really want to eat at?
