Swanky

Wow I went up to a big city recently and went to this swank place that was really interesting. It was this ultra urban restaurant that with all the waitress and they had on urban clothing which is by itself not bad but made it fun.

It was only way to average food. It is okay but the atmosphere was quite unique. I am not the kind of person who goes to swanky places. I did enjoy this one.

POS Systems

One of the funny thing about POS systems and eating out is how many of them use compaq desktops for the POS systems. I have to confess I like the old style compaqs. I made a lot of money when I was on contracts reparing these things.

Food on the 4th

I always like holidays as they are often celebrated with food and these foods remind us of the holiday. What is more American then a hamburger and watermelon and potato salad.

Potato salad is so unquily American that everyone else tries to copy it. Did you know that the potato is a new world food? That is the potato is originally from the Americas and prior to COlumbus the potato was unknown in Europe.

Best part is that I do not have to get invitationbox.com invitations as I have people showing up all the time.

The hamburger is also an American item. Everywhere in the world they import McDs burgers. Yes sometimes they are localized but it is so American. I hope that you have a great day. And be careful out there with those fireworks.
