An Old Friend

I just meet one of my good friends from high school. She was up here visiting her in-laws shortly after she had a Spine surgery Houston to help her pain. Scary as we get older the differance that happen. She was in an accident however, I am glad she is fine now.

Of course she now lives in Texas and visitng up in the land of the cold.

Well have a most happy day.

Snowing -- Yeah!!

SO now that snow is here. IT is time to mount up my thule ski rack and head out to the slops and do some snow skiing.

I love this time of year. It is a great time to be out and about. I used to go on a snow ski and enjoying myself. I have not been able to do much in the way of snow play. I love to go downhill skiing.

I have to confess I am not a great fan of cross country.

Wow. I just looked at he Academy Award Nominations. This year is weird for me. I feel like I need to buy morgan silver dollars.

Staying Warm.

One of the things I like this time of year is my sunrooms on my house. Despite the cold temps it is usually warm after work. I like to go in there with my dog and read my iPad. I usually hit the news to see what is going on in the world.

Finding That

I was out talking with my good about Optometrist Jobs as he is an Optometrist. Needless to say the process is quite a bit differnt then for other jobs. I was rather shocked. It is also not as hard as you would think, but I wonder i that has something to do with midwest.
