Val-Day and Dinner.

Well one of my friends who has a daughter that plays the in a high school jazz band. They had a really cool valentines dinner with their daughter playing some soothing jazz in the background. Now that is the way to have some solid jazz in the background.

Granted she was slightly in the other room and the wife had to make the dinner. Apperntly though it went really well listening to the music.

Have a great day.

Working It Out There

Lots of things are going on in my life. What I really like are the romeo y julieta cigars that are a great way to celebrate a good victory.

I have several good reasons to celebrate. I just like good things to celebrate with.

The weird part is after a month of no interviews, I have four in the next two weeks. Maybe more to celebrate.

Well I hope that you have a great day.

An Old Friend

I just meet one of my good friends from high school. She was up here visiting her in-laws shortly after she had a Spine surgery Houston to help her pain. Scary as we get older the differance that happen. She was in an accident however, I am glad she is fine now.

Of course she now lives in Texas and visitng up in the land of the cold.

Well have a most happy day.

Snowing -- Yeah!!

SO now that snow is here. IT is time to mount up my thule ski rack and head out to the slops and do some snow skiing.

I love this time of year. It is a great time to be out and about. I used to go on a snow ski and enjoying myself. I have not been able to do much in the way of snow play. I love to go downhill skiing.

I have to confess I am not a great fan of cross country.

Have a great day.

Academy Awards

Wow. I just looked at he Academy Award Nominations. This year is weird for me. I feel like I need to buy morgan silver dollars.

This year is really weird. For best picture:

"The Artist" Thomas Langmann, Producer
"The Descendants" Jim Burke, Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor, Producers
"Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" Scott Rudin, Producer
"The Help" Brunson Green, Chris Columbus and Michael Barnathan, Producers
"Hugo" Graham King and Martin Scorsese, Producers
"Midnight in Paris" Letty Aronson and Stephen Tenenbaum, Producers
"Moneyball" Michael De Luca, Rachael Horovitz and Brad Pitt, Producers
"The Tree of Life" Nominees to be determined
"War Horse" Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy, Producers

Now what is odd. I have not seen any of these movies yet

Staying Warm.

One of the things I like this time of year is my sunrooms on my house. Despite the cold temps it is usually warm after work. I like to go in there with my dog and read my iPad. I usually hit the news to see what is going on in the world.

If you would like to find information about raw scores and scaled scores on the praxis ii test then you need to go to that link.

I hope you have a great day.

Finding That

I was out talking with my good about Optometrist Jobs as he is an Optometrist. Needless to say the process is quite a bit differnt then for other jobs. I was rather shocked. It is also not as hard as you would think, but I wonder i that has something to do with midwest.

Well I hope that you have a great day and have a good new year.
